Aww, this one's a classic. I've written this year at about some time last year. Haha. I like this one because it tells of a story of chivalry, journey, and strength. I hope you get to like it too!
A journey of different images and endless joys in the pain, smiles, and flashes of medieval chivalry, and the stories that never end. That is how life's steps are. That is how I see it.
I may add more to lines in the future as I'm enjoying it. :)
He looks from afar
And sees how much he tread
He smiles at the war
At how much he's defeated
His adventurer feet ain't tired
He's not yet reached his goal
He'll go on with his ride
And climb the highest wall
In every fight he emerges from
He bleeds, he breaks, he shouts
Yet he survives to see the morn
And heals when in the shrouds
Awake, he is, he goes on
Sees the dawn, a light
This glimpse of east from the sun
Keeps him on the fight
More stories untold of him
Lie in wait, excited
The way that he writes his dreams
Makes me, you, ever delighted
Note: written last August 9, 2008 at somewhere in the midnight. I don't know but it was written some few or several minutes after the preceding one. Just re-posting. ;)

They Dance
They dance and groove in the light
The beat set free, all set loose
Take a look at them tonight
Neon clothes, in frolic shoes
In the distance as I watch
Shadows, motions, frames in rage
My eyes wander just to catch
Apparitions, fire on stage
They dance and shout in all strength
As the speakers kicks aloud
Their gasps turn to heavy breath
As they mingle 'long the crowd
The moon, the sky they both fade
Eager bodies cannot wait
The men, for sure, knows their trade
Here awake as if not late
They dance and enjoy the height
Smiles in faces now engraved
But here I am, lone tonight
In the dark, a pit I paved
The beat set free, all set loose
Take a look at them tonight
Neon clothes, in frolic shoes
In the distance as I watch
Shadows, motions, frames in rage
My eyes wander just to catch
Apparitions, fire on stage
They dance and shout in all strength
As the speakers kicks aloud
Their gasps turn to heavy breath
As they mingle 'long the crowd
The moon, the sky they both fade
Eager bodies cannot wait
The men, for sure, knows their trade
Here awake as if not late
They dance and enjoy the height
Smiles in faces now engraved
But here I am, lone tonight
In the dark, a pit I paved

Unsatisfied
I know you feel unsatisfied
I do not ask you why
You should have known already
What you have just wouldn't last
You've done the same before
Don't you ever wonder why?
You've been in the same place as you were, yet
You've never reached beyond
Look what you have today
Reflect just for a while
It's time to choose some other way
Ain't it enough to change your style?
Change is knocking
Offering you a chance
To start your life anew
And render a new glance
It has given me the same
Though I've fallen lots
Do not waste it and please learn
In the end you'll long it's touch
I do not ask you why
You should have known already
What you have just wouldn't last
You've done the same before
Don't you ever wonder why?
You've been in the same place as you were, yet
You've never reached beyond
Look what you have today
Reflect just for a while
It's time to choose some other way
Ain't it enough to change your style?
Change is knocking
Offering you a chance
To start your life anew
And render a new glance
It has given me the same
Though I've fallen lots
Do not waste it and please learn
In the end you'll long it's touch
