There is a time for everything.

I have a private dreams blog. I just posted two dreams. One happened in December 2011. The other March 2012. I wasn't able to post them as they happened. But these dreams, and my posting them 'later' taught me that indeed, there is a time for everything. I haven't posted these two dreams for a reason, because they were waiting for something. It wasn't time yet for them, and this happens to be the perfect time.

To end this post, let me share the following verses:

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8, 15-17

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

...

15 Whatever is has already been,
    and what will be has been before;
and God will call the past to account.
16 And I saw something else under the sun:
In the place of judgment—wickedness was there,
in the place of justice—wickedness was there.
17 I said to myself,
“God will bring into judgment
both the righteous and the wicked,
for there will be a time for every activity,
a time to judge every deed.”

Is Change Evil?

The time today is very different. Change is very evident. But, I have one question: does change mean forgetting what was? Then why do people bend the moral standards of yesterday and reason out "change"?

The world has indeed changed. It is very different. The ones who stick to their morals are now the ones who are being persecuted. The ones who create moral scandals are venerated. When you speak about your distaste or disagreement about an immoral act, you are being thrown hateful words. Seems like the world is turning more and more evil, as it becomes more and more tolerant of wrong-doings.

Is change really evil?

King of Delays

I told myself that I am going to write about a Plurk I wrote earlier. It was my stat, "Me be King of Delays". Yeah, I am a King of Delays. I so am. I wanted to write something about it that intense that I even thought of writing a poem for it. Right now, as I write, I am just not really certain if I will indeed write a poem about it. But, I just HOPE that one day I will... unless because of time, things have changed and I won't need to anymore.

I am a King of Delays. I have noticed how I delay things I need to do. One reason is because I always want everything I do to be the "right one" as I do it. It means that if it's not the "right one", then it'll need some "more" working on... hence, it's more tiring, and it'll need more effort from me. Effort that isn't as easy to give as one may think. As a result, I simply find most of my time spent in wondering when that "right time" is. Only then do I realize that I have little time, and then I rush, and then... I be on the verge of failure.

I still want to write more... but it's pretty late. I still need to wake up early tomorrow, do my personal Christian devotion and go to church, and later in the afternoon attend to my brother's "despedida" or farewell party, and then go to my classmate's pad for probably a two-night stay. This is for a project defense... and if time permits, others more.

Alas, this "project" is exactly just what I was talking about as I realized how I am such a King of Delays.

Momentary

This we have is momentary
Our devotion slips, flies away
Happy now and later gloomy
'Cause no matter what, we can't stay

This festiveness I have inside
Might be here now and later gone
Our victory, things that give pride
Is uncertain, hides like the sun

But I've learned one thing, how to choose
Things you can keep for a lifetime
We're not little, no more, to lose
It's high season for our sublime

A momentary universe
I thought I had no other course
But then, these hands, creates my verse
To remove regret, the remorse

Remove these feather wings of mine
For they're for babes and not for lads
No need of cribs nor river's gush
To fly me to heavenly pads

Traffic

It's been hours and time is ticking
You're still not here and I'm still waiting
All this time I watch stars shooting
No hint of you, not even a warning

I stare with intent over my phone
Waiting here for a ring, a tone
I've been long sitting here all alone
Just enough to turn me into stone

I ask God for any sign
I know that I'm out of the lign
Fuzzing too much about your hands in mine
The time before that were so fine

This sure makes me so very lonely
But then I hear you suddenly call me
My gray world now begins to leave my sanity
Absconding and making me the most happy

It's been traffic, so you tell me
I've forgotten the long wait that has consumed me
You're worth the time that I felt empty
Now you're here by my side, so lucky me Ü

Writer's notes: Wahaha, di ako makatulog, it's 3:38 AM na when I wrote this one. Wala lang, gutom pa ko this time and 7:30 AM - 7:00 pa class ko sa following day, what the life? Hehehe...ang mushy no? Hehehe. Ü

Time of Decision

Poisons of poisons
Right in front, a temptation.
Knife of knives
Handed, in a table,
Waiting to be picked up.

You haven't learned yet, maybe
Of the thing called mystery.
You're in between
Pulled by heaven and earth,
In the mid of time and space.

This state of decision,
Causes all the confusion.
This art, this void,
This ever changing form.
We are strangers from reality.

Stop time, stop all else
This time make it right, make sense.
Rest your head from thinking,
And your body from distress.
Know that it's all taken away, and just give it away a kiss...
